About Ariel
Welcome! My name is Ariel Lewis. I am a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor in the state of Maryland. Since beginning my clinical work in 2013 I have had the pleasure to work with clients of all ages and from a variety of backgrounds.
Grieving the loss of a loved one, workplace stress, relationship issues, adapting to life transitions, and building self-compassion—these are only examples of the concerns that I am prepared to assist you with.
I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, interpersonal concerns, and navigating the day-to-day concerns of life, with special attention given to the context that surrounds each individual. My clients are typically adults, but I am also open to older adolescents.
My therapeutic approach is person-centered in nature. This means that therapy will be tailored to your specific needs. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all! You are the expert on your life. You live it every day.
