Hello, my name is Roma.  I am a certified trauma therapist for children and adolescents and am passionate about providing trauma-informed therapeutic services. I have worked in foster care, outpatient mental health clinics, residential treatment centers, and special education schools providing clinical services to youth with severe mental health and behavioral needs, including youth with a history of sexually offending behaviors.   I believe in celebrating each step taken in the direction of greater insight and improved symptom management. I utilize an eclectic approach to therapy, including the use of expressive therapies. In doing so, I try to empower my clients to express themselves in the manner they feel most comfortable with. I believe in recognizing the power and resilience of the individual while simultaneously working to minimize the obstacles that disinhibit growth and progress.
