Meet Sidney

Hello, I am Sidney, a Licensed Master Social Worker. As a former foster care caseworker, I am experienced with youths ages 5-21 years. I am capable of addressing topics including, but not limited to, adoption, family relational problems, and abuse/neglect. I am also experienced in assisting youth through problems regarding anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, people-pleasing, attachment issues, and more. I believe that we are all “under construction” at any point in our lives. Therefore, I like to take a person-centered, strengths-based approach to healing. This means I want to empower you to improve, using the tools that are already within you—we’ll just sharpen those tools together, in fun, creative ways of course! Additionally, we’ll take a look at the resources and support around you through a systems-based approach. Simply put: who/what else is contributing to your toolbox and how?
